    The Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DSOG) proudly announces its 6th Annual Conference, to be held on 16th and 17th May 2026 in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This event will bring together experts and healthcare professionals to share insights, exchange ideas and explore the latest innovations in obstetrics and gynecology. Founded in the mid-1976th as an offshoot of the Bihar–Patna Obstetric and Gynaecological Society, DSOG later became an independent body committed to advancing women’s health, medical education and ethical clinical practice in Jharkhand.

    The society’s foundation was laid by visionary leaders — Dr. Shanker Priya (M.S., FRCOG), Dr. Mrs. Leena Priya (M.S., FRCOG), Dr. C.C. Hazra (DGO), Dr. Kublai Kumar (FRCOG) and Dr. Mrs. Aparna Kumar / A. Kumar (MRCOG) — whose dedication fostered DSOG’s culture of learning, collaboration and community service. The upcoming conference continues this legacy with scientific sessions, keynote lectures, panel discussions and workshops aimed at enriching knowledge and strengthening professional fellowship.
