6th DSOG Conference 2026

The 6th DSOG Conference 2026, organized by the Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, was successfully held on 16th & 17th May 2026 at Grand Mirage (Radisson Individuals), Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Centered around the theme “Swastha Naari Sashakt Samaaj – Healing Women, Strengthening Communities,” the conference brought together leading obstetricians, gynaecologists, and healthcare professionals from across the region for two days of intensive academic engagement and collaboration.

The conference commenced with a focused workshop on Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) titled “PPH Management: Anatomy to Action,” which included expert lectures, role plays, and skill-based stations. The sessions emphasized real-time clinical decision-making, emergency response protocols, and hands-on learning to improve maternal outcomes.

Across both days, the scientific program featured a wide range of academic sessions, keynote addresses, panel discussions, and orations covering critical areas such as infertility management, pregnancy care, gynecological oncology, endometriosis, contraception, and emerging clinical practices. Notable highlights included discussions on legal aspects in obstetrics, advancements in diagnostic and surgical approaches, and evolving trends in women’s healthcare.

The conference concluded with meaningful knowledge exchange, networking, and collaborative discussions, reinforcing DSOG’s commitment to advancing women’s health through continuous learning and professional excellence. Empowering Women’s Health Through Knowledge & Transformation

The Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DSOG) cordially invites you to an exclusive CME program on obesity management in women’s health, scheduled for Saturday, 7th February 2026, from 7:30 PM onwards at Hotel Radisson Individuals, Dhanbad. The workshop reflects DSOG’s commitment to the vision “Swastha Naari, Sashakt Samaaj – Healing Women, Strengthening Communities.”

The program will be led by Dr. Komal Singh (President, DSOG), with Dr. Vinita as MOC and Dr. Rina Barnwal (Secretary, DSOG). The session will be chaired by Dr. V.N. Choudhary, Dr. S.K. Das, Dr. Neha Bhatnagar, and Dr. Seema Sahu, ensuring academic excellence.

With the message “Early Detection Saves Lives,” DSOG encourages women to prioritize awareness and take proactive steps toward cancer prevention and early diagnosis.

Cancers affecting women, particularly breast and cervical cancer, can often be prevented or effectively treated when detected early. Regular screening, timely vaccination, and informed medical guidance play a crucial role in reducing disease burden and improving survival outcomes. Early action empowers women with knowledge, confidence, and control over their health.

The Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DSOG) cordially invites you to a scientific program titled “Born Protected: The Power of Tdap Vaccination in Pregnancy”, scheduled on Saturday, 10th January 2026, from 7:30 PM onwards at Hotel Sonotel, Ozone Galleria, Dhanbad.

This academic session will focus on the importance of timely Tdap vaccination during pregnancy and its vital role in preventing pertussis in newborn infants. The program aims to enhance awareness among healthcare professionals about evidence-based maternal immunization practices that safeguard both mother and child.

The session will feature an expert talk by Dr. Sadhana, chaired by Dr. Sabita Shukla Das and Dr. Amita Bagchi, under the leadership of Dr. Komal Singh (President, DSOG) and Dr. Rina Barnwal (Secretary, DSOG).

Pap Smear Screening Camp

The Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DSOG) is organizing a Pap Smear Screening Camp to promote early detection and prevention of cervical health complications. The camp will be conducted on 13th December 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Chasnalla CHC, Jharia-cum-Jorapokhar, Pathardih, Dhanbad.

Regular Pap smear screening is a simple yet highly effective method for identifying early cellular changes of the cervix before they progress into serious disease. Through this initiative, DSOG aims to empower women with timely screening, expert guidance, and awareness about cervical health.

The camp will be conducted by trained healthcare professionals in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring privacy and accurate screening. DSOG invites women from the community to participate in this preventive health initiative and take a proactive step towards long-term well-being.

FREE CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING CAMP

Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DSOG) is organizing a Free Cervical Cancer Screening Camp with the aim of promoting women’s health and early detection. A healthy woman is the foundation of a strong society—when women are healthy, families and communities thrive.

This camp is being conducted in association with Kalyani Diagnostic Centre and Suraksha Vaccine Centre as part of DSOG’s continued commitment to awareness, prevention, and timely intervention for cervical cancer.

The screening camp will be held on 19th November 2025, starting from 10:00 AM onwards, at UCHC Kenduadih, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Women are encouraged to take advantage of this free screening opportunity and learn more about prevention and vaccination.

All DSOG members are warmly invited to participate and support this noble initiative.
